X-ray angiography is a crucial modality for diagnosis and treatment in modern medicine. It involves the insertion of a catheter through the wrist or groin, followed by X-ray imaging to visualize the blood vessel distribution in various parts of the body. This examination helps doctors to diagnose and plan further treatments for the patient. However, despite the availability of advanced medical equipment and the expertise of medical professionals, there are several issues in the overall operation process. For instance, the hand fixation bracket used during the procedure may not be ergonomic for doctors while inserting the needle, and the telescopic table used may be too large and difficult to maneuver for medical staff. To address these concerns, this project aims to integrate and redesign the tools required for angiography by conducting user interviews and a thorough process assessment. The goal is to provide medical personnel with a smoother and safer surgical experience.
This project comprises two main components. The first is an adaptable hand support, which aims to address the inadequacies of the previous support, such as restricted mobility, unfavorable angles for doctor's operations, and the absence of protective devices. The second is a lightweight, stable, and flat Angio table that is easy to store and set up. Its purpose is to enable medical personnel to erect the mask platform on the operating table easily and safely, while providing surgeons with a flatter and more stable operating space.

RG-SHIELD features a support belt with Velcro that addresses the height differences caused by the patient's wrist length. This belt allows doctors to easily and firmly place the patient's wrist at the optimal height for follow-up treatment.
It is measured and determined that an angle of 12 degrees between the patient's elbow and body is the most conducive for doctors during needle insertion and treatment. By extending the arm bracket to this angle and using a fixed fulcrum as the axis of rotation, enables physicians to freely adjust to a comfortable and suitable position.
The support frame of RG-SHIELD features an appropriate curvature on both sides and high coverage, providing doctors with ample space to lay the sterile field. This design also effectively reduces the risk of the patient's arm slipping off the bracket due to its increased surface area compared to traditional arm board.

RG-SHIELD utilizes a base plate made of carbon fiber, providing stable and lightweight support during the operation. The base plate is placed under the patient's back, and this design prioritizes stability while maintaining a thin and unobtrusive profile.

The flat and foldable cover panel provides a smooth and unobstructed work surface, eliminating the need for multiple thick and difficult to expand platforms. The approach also solves the problem of the gaps between each platform.
The front end of the foldable covering is equipped with three sets of cushions that provide gentle support to the patient's lower body during treatment. These cushions also eliminate the need for additional foam support, reducing the overall weight and complexity of the platform.
Calm Down Wristband, detects the body and environment values in real-time, imitatively.

The 2+1 assembly method not only reduces the weight of the platform by over 50%, but also makes it easy for medical personnel to carry, install and store in narrow diagnosis and treatment spaces.
